Repairing, Restoring and Mounting a Ship's Wheel

We found this old ship's wheel and decided it was worthy of repair and mounting for display.  It looks like an authentic antique helm to me but I have absolutely no evidence to back up that claim. Used our wood lathe to make a new spoke, replaced some of the arches and finally refinished it.
