Lost Media: Unreleased Higher Quality Versions of Early 90s Barney Episodes and Home Videos

DISCLAIMER: THIS VIDEO IS NOT MADE FOR KIDS THIS IS ONLY MADE FOR TEENS AND ADULTS WHO LIKE BARNEY OR PEOPLE WHO ARE INTO LOST MEDIA EVERYONE CAN ENJOY THIS AND SAY WHAT THEY WANT IN THE COMMENTS Here are unreleased higher quality or high definition clips of Barney & Friends Season 1 and 2 episodes including that were never released on home video as well as Barney’s Magical Musical Adventure which never got a DVD release and it looks a million times better than the official upload on the Barney official channel, yeah isn’t that quite sad. As well as clips of Imagination Island and Live in New York City. While these episodes are not lost their easily available online there are unreleased non vhs versions of Seasons 1-6 that have never been released to the public which they can be seen in The Best of Barney DVD and the bonus feature Barney’s Favorite Memories. And a leaked 2019 DVD preview of Barney Safety as well as an Italian intro of Barney & Friends that features Season 1 clips in higher quality. These clips were sourced from Barney Celebrates Children Documentary from 1994. For a long time only a low quality VHS rip of the documentary was found online it wasn’t until on May 2, 2022 the Walter J. Brown Media Archives found a master tape of the documentary and uploaded it to their website which is why the quality of the clips is that damn good. Especially Hit Entertainment because why would they show the episodes on Sprout, only release some episodes in other countries, DVD Quality clips in The Best of Barney DVD, and not even give Seasons 1-6 a Full DVD or streaming release unless it has to do with licensing issues which some fans claim but I can’t find an official source of that online. It’s like Hit Entertainment wanted to make Barney’s history fade into obscurity more than anything and because of that the show almost became and was lost media at some point but ever since, all the episodes of Seasons 1-6 are available online. Update so recently my lost higher quality versions of Barney episodes and home videos from the 90s did pretty well that someone on the lost media wiki added as a lost media article request. lostmediawiki.com/Article_requests Which I’m working on a video that I’m talking about every higher quality or DVD Quality version of Barney Seasons 1-6 episodes and home videos from the 90s aka the Lyons and Lyrick era that are available or not available online. Including the Backyard Gang videos as well. And it seems like it’s going to be a very long video lol, probably over an hour or more than that. I also got more Barney lost media videos planned like the first public appearance of Barney & Friends from March 28, 1992 at the Music Hall in Dallas, Texas. Kind of like the first public appearance of Sonic the Hedgehog at the Tokyo Toy Show from 1990 except it’s not a video game. As well as a compilation of Barney lost media discoveries. And of course a follow up video of my Pieces of Rare and Lost Media Backyard Gang video which will mostly be focusing on Barney & Friends, and the Barney franchise in general to the 1990s, and 2000s, Unofficial Barney Lost Media, and possibly more. It’s definitely going to have more pieces than my Backyard Gang video because I discovered a lot of obscure media from Barney’s history that barely gets talked about online. If your asking me why I’m making these videos it’s because compared to other kids shows that have lost media Barney gets talked about the least when it comes to it. It’s probably one of the most obscure kids shows lost media out there. Which lost media from this franchise is so interesting just for how obscure it is.
