N20 engine (BMW F30) Hesitation and Reduced Throttle Response

Trying to diagnose an odd hesitation occurring on a BMW 328 N20  - happens on a warm engine after a restart. The issue resolves after turning the engine off and waiting for 20 seconds or so.
I already checked for vacuum leaks.
Any suggestions or ideas you guys have would be helpful.
Edit - replaced breather valve (https://amzn.to/3oYtcJY) and car no longer runs rough in cold weather but other symptoms persist. Thanks
