Today we're going to master
Today we're going to master the basics of top of descent in the Boeing 737!
(No I don't mean press LNAV + VNAV and forget all about it)
We're gonna actually LEARN (scary word I know) what is happening here for a manual / unplanned / no procedures flight that ends in a visual bang on. Those new to flying sims, or transferring over from Airbus will find this invaluable.
This Video Forms PART 1 of a 2 Part mini series. Part 2 will then discuss and build upon important concepts we learnt in this video, for a full Autoland, following procedures all the way down from the same starting point. If flying a planned IFR flight with STARs and approaches, which would be expected on VatSim or Real Life, I highly recommend watching both videos.
