ANC Gauteng unveils its plan on how to manage coalitions

The ANC in Gauteng is unveiling its plan of action on how it will manage coalitions in the province. The party is holding its second local government summit in Ekurhuleni where it hopes to come up with a strategy to regain the municipalities it lost. It has vowed to shield Johannesburg Mayor Kabelo Gwamanda from a looming Action SA-sponsored no-confidence motion.
It says its decision to back a minority candidate was motivated by a resolution to remove the DA from power in every municipality in the province.
