“….I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly”.

What began as a National Geographic expedition, lead by Dan Buettner, to uncover the secrets of longevity, evolved into the discovery of the 5 places around the world where people consistently live over 100 years old, dubbed the Blue Zones. In these areas people reach age 100 at 10 times greater rates than in the United States. The expedition was able to distill the evidence-based common denominators of these Blue Zones into 9 commonalities that they call the Power 9.

In this presentation at Lake Oswego United Methodist Church, Nirmala Dhar explains Blue Zone living and the Power 9. The hope is that we can learn and follow some or all of these practices to improve our own aging processes and to enjoy Resilient Aging and Abundant Life as we do!
