Making A Brass Pen on the Myford ML7 Lathe

I made this brass pen out of a single piece of 12mm brass round bar on the Myford ML7. The insert is a 'Schmidt P8126', body is 10.5mm in diameter and 136mm in length weighing in at 56g.

I decided to leave the rougher milled finish rather than polishing as this is just a prototype and ended up liking the look which also gives a little extra grip.
