When I think about how I write comics, I do it in 3 steps: BRAINSTORMING, OUTLINING & SCRIPTING.  This one is dedicated to the act of writing an OUTLINE.

This is where I'll start doing some of the real writing work. It’s where I’ll take the various scenes, character descriptions, dialogue and so on, that I'd written while brainstorming, and start to marry all of these story elements together to come away with the OUTLINE that's going to keep me on track throughout the SCRIPTING process.
