In this video, we will guide you on how to apply for the Groha Jyoti scheme launched by the Karnataka government. This scheme aims to provide electricity to households in rural areas of the state. The application process is straightforward and can be completed online.
To apply for the scheme, you need to visit the sevasindhu.karnataka.gov.in website. On this portal, you will find four schemes, including Groha Jyoti, Gurdh Lakshmi, Shakthi Yojana, and Yuva Yojana. Click on Groha Jyoti to proceed with the application.
First, select your electricity supplier (HESCOM) from the options available, which include BESCOM, DESCOM, MESCOM, and others. After that, you will need to enter your connection ID and account holder name and address as per your electricity bill.
You will also need to mention the type of occupancy, whether you are the owner or tenant of the premises. Make sure to enter the correct name and mobile number of the account holder.
Once done, you will need to tick on the declaration checkbox confirming that the account ID or connection ID is used only for domestic purpose, and not for commercial use. Then, enter the given captcha and click on submit to complete the application.
