The absolutely pure formless Maheshwar is the lord of deities who can save a living being from the jaws of death restoring him to health and vigor. But who can harm the person who is under the protection of Mrityunjaya. Yamraj left Markandeya. Markandeya attained a long life and composed the Markandeya Puran.
