After a dramatic twelve days on the run, the infamous manhunt for John Wilkes Booth, President Lincoln's assassin, reaches its conclusion.

John Wilkes Booth stayed at the Garrett farm during his last days before his death. We visited the son of Richard H Garrett, who owned that farm.

Was the Garret family in on it? Or was this just an unfortunate crossing with an infamous assassin?

We discuss the facts through the eyes of an 11-year-old boy who recounts his memories from those days in April of 1865.

We traveled to Cedar Grove Cemetery in Portsmouth, Virginia, the final resting place of Richard B Garrett, the farmer's son who unwittingly played a pivotal role in Booth's capture.

Join us as we delve into the history surrounding the Garrett Farm and uncover the events that unfolded during those final, desperate hours.
