Baddha Padmasana or locked Lotus pose is an augmented form of Padmasana. Padmasana or Lotus pose is described as the basic posture in Yoga. In Baddha Padmasana the toes are caught from behind the back by crossed hands which completely locks the whole body. Baddha Padmasana calms down the mind and gives inner peace to the practitioner. Internal organs situated in the lower part of the abdomen are greatly benefited by this asana. Shoulders, elbows, wrists are all well exercised and their muscles strengthened. Note: – Supervision of an Experienced Yoga instructor is highly recommended for learning Yoga. #baddhapadmasana #lockedlotuspose #yoga #yogaforwrists #meditation
