The pilot showed the A350 cockpit and explained the high-altitude operation at Addis Ababa and its limitation on takeoff weight. Flight time to Cape Town is 6 hours from Addis Ababa, flying through Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Botswana before reaching South Africa.
