In this video, I show you how to create an easy and simple mod-mail system for your discord server using the bot YAGPDB.
BE ADVISED, DUE TO A RECENT UPDATE THE BOT MAY REQUIRE ADMIN PERMISSIONS.
For my server the bot now needs admin to create tickets.
I currently in 2021 I use this bot for my discord server (link below) and found it to be easier to install than other self hosted bots and also more reliable in uptime than some mod-mail only bots.
This system does not send the messages through a members private dm, but rather a private text channel is created within your server between the mods and the member.
