How to Determine the Carrying Value of Bonds

This video shows how to calculate the carrying value of a bond throughout the life of the bond.  The initial carrying value is the issue price of the bond.  This carrying value is then adjusted each period (adjusted upward if the bond was issued at a discount, downward if the bond was issued at a premium).—
