This is a short accuracy test with a 12ga-9mm adapter and wax slugs. The targets included an 8in. plate at 11 yards and a 12in. plate at 33 yards. The shotgun used was a NEF pardner in 12 gauge. The 9mm adapter was purchased from gunadapters.com. We found that the 8in plate could be easily hit by the 9mm and the slug. The wax slug was much more consistent at the 33 yard target (about 7MOA groups). It seems that the 3in smooth boar adapter is not going to provide very good accuracy (big surprise). The adapter is well made and a good value but it appears that it will not provide you with accuracy beyond about 15-20 yards. I feel confident that I could hit a deer with the adapter within 25 yards but it is not squirrels or rabbits. Keep in mind that this was an initial test with the wax slugs and adapter. I will have a full tabletop review in the future. As always when modifying ammunition or firearms use good judgment and be safe.
