Steve welcomes Endrell Dawson, the founder and executive director of Frisco Symphony Orchestras, a non-profit musical group for children of all skill levels. Endrell works as a substitute teacher and currently donates half of her salary to the orchestra program. Endrell has always had a passion for music, but became sidetracked in finishing her college degree in music, when the responsibilities of being a young mother took priority. As a spokesperson for Strayer University – an institution that focuses on higher education for working adults — Steve will surprise Endrell with a $5,000 donation from Strayer to the Frisco Symphony Orchestra, a full scholarship for Endrell to complete her education and $10,000 to make sure she has everything she needs!
