It’s February and I’m super bored
my cousin gets me!
It’s 1692
in Salem there's nothing to do.
Lets start a rumor,
okay let me think of something cute!
How ‘bout we say there’s evil spirits in our bodies?
we’ll be twitchin’ from bewitchin’
YEAH!! we’ll look like super hotties!!
AHH!! We start screaming!
Acting with conviction.
And now our dad’s are asking
“which witch caused this great affliction?”
Which witch,
gonna clean up our town!
Which witch,
are we gonna bring down?
Which witch,
will we hang, burn, or drown?
The mean girls of Salem are coming for you!!
We started naming all these
random people that were haunted
and my random I mean people
who had stuff we wanted!
Just a few, quickly turned to 22.
It's so funny how people think that it is true!
Which witch,
everybody's on trial!
Which witch,
been in prison a while!
Which witch,
has the devil beguiled!
The mean girls of Salem are coming for you!!
Over 200 accused
then tortured, tried, or abused.
19 were hanged,
13 left chained,
all from of our silly ruse!
And at the end guess what they found
Salem had poisonous ground,
from farming rye all the time
and never changing it 'round!
The witch fever ran among us
from a psychotropic fungus
and made our superstitious Salem
go crazy like bees had stung us!
But are we sorry what we started?
All those people who died?
I mean...
Abigail: We didn't get in trouble
Betsy: Cause no one knows that we lied!
Which witch,
what an awful mistake!
Which witch,
this whole trial was fake!
Which witch,
least they weren’t burned at the stake!
