يا ضياء الشمس مهلاً لا تدعنا للغروب
O radiance of the sun, do not let us & go
لتنير الدرب إنَّا لرشادٍ سنعود
To illuminate the path, we'll turn to guidance
لا تدعنا .. للدجى لا .. سنعود
Do not let us for darkness, we'll be back!
نوري شمس إباءٍ من سناكِ المُستفيض
Light up, O sun of pride, your radiance
روحُ أزهارِ ربيعٍ حُسنها لمح وميض
To provide the beauty of spring's flowers
وبطيفٍ قد كساها
That covered with a spectrum,
وبنورٍ قد علاها
And a light above it.
قدر الله وقاها
The Decree of Allah protected it
ردّد الكون صداها
The world repeated its sound
"إنه الله القدير"
(Indeed, He is Allah, The Almighty)

متِّع الطرفَ مليًا بقطافٍ من ورود
Enjoy seeing picking of roses
نَسِّمِ الأنف زكيًا بِعِباقٍ و بعود
Enjoy smelling fragrants & Oud
إن تكنْ حُسنُ ثيابٍ
But if it was beautiful garments (clothing)
تغرُرْكَ أو بشبابٍ
Or youthfulness that allure you,
فانتظر يوم حسابٍ
Then wait for the Day of Account
يجزيكَ ربٌ قدير
The Almighty Lord will reward you

وبغورِ البحر انظر بين مرجان شِعاب
Take a look at the deep sea coral reefs
غائرَ الأعماق ابصر سوف تُنبيك عِجاب
You will be impressed by its depths
وافتكر يومًا تنائى ..
And remember who disappeared one day
و ببطن الحوتِ غابَ ..
And swallowed by a whale ..
يونُسٌ إذ ذاكَ نادى ..
It's Yunus (Jonah) when he supplicated!
ربي غافر يا قدير !
"My Lord is forgiving, O mighty one!"
