To all viewers : This is the Sherman tank of the new motion picture "Fury", with Brad Pitt. Check this Fury: Tank Drives Thru the Street of ...
This sequence here was shot in 2013. Few months afterwards, that Sherman was cast for the movie "Fury". It replaced on screen the one from Bovington Camp whose engine failed. If you don't "believe" this: Look in the movie for its turret number. This is the only way to know which scenes this Sherman made it into the final cut.

Le Sherman M4A3E8 de Jeep Sud Est est chargé sur son porte-char après la commémoration de la Libération de Pertuis et Meyrargues - 2013.
Construit à l'époque par Chrysler avec un canon de 105. Equipé lors de sa restauration avec une tourelle de 76mm, et un moteur diesel moderne. Il sera bientôt équipé de nouveau avec son moteur en étoile d'origine.
Ce Sherman est à suspensions HVSS.
Un grand merci à Tank Engineers pour leur aide, leur sympathie et le magnifique travail de restauration qu'ils ont effectué sur leurs blindés (Sherman, TD M10, Half track M2, M8). Merci de m'avoir laissé monter à bord de leurs engins.
