the tomb of Prophet Harun

The Tomb of Prophet Harun (Aaron) is very close to the St. Catherine’s Monastery in Sinai. Aaron was the older brother of Moses (Musa in Arabic) and he grew up in Egypt.  Both he and Moses were sent together to warn the Pharaoh about God’s punishment.
The story of the Golden Calf in Koran is related to Prophet Aaron. Just prior to being given the Ten Commandments, God invited Moses to bring Aaron with him up the mountain.
