Abandoned Late 1800's hotel in
Abandoned Late 1800's hotel in Lexington Kentucky that has been started to be remodeled but never finished ,is up for sale.

I talked to a friend today that used to work near there back in the 1970's, he said it was a hotel, among other things, said the 1st floor had a topless bar called Boots Bar, the 2nd floor was a brothel and the 3rd and 4th floor was the hotel. He said it has been sitting empty and under renovation for over 30 years. The train station was just across Brodway and when there was events at the Red Mile or at Tatersalls, the hotel was packed full. The old train station burnt down several years ago and now is gone. Tatersalls was a huge horse auction area with a large arena and lots of barns. That was all torn down a few years ago and apartments built in it's place.
It is an interesting building from the track side as it reminds me of the house in the Amityville Horror movie house.
