Learn how to crochet half-finger
Learn how to crochet half-finger gloves in an easy beginner's guide pattern with this step-by-step tutorial.
Materials I used:
100% Acrylic yarn size 3 - 4 sizes
4.0mm crochet hook
st. marker , scissor , darning needle
chapters pattern:
00:00 intro
00:27 start by making the thumb slipknot, ch12 & add 2 rounds of 12sc stitch, slst into the st. marker & ch1, sc in the same st. where you did the slst , then sc the ff sts for 12sc sts counting start from the stitch marker.
Slipknot, ch12 - thumb - 2 rounds,
ring finger - 2 rounds
middle finger - 4 rounds
index finger - 2 rounds
Slipknot, ch10 - little finger - 1 round
00:46 - thumb tutorial
04:05 - little finger tutorial
05:35 - index finger 6sc & connect the middle finger 6sc, ring finger 6sc, little finger 10sc for 28sts
08:51 - sc in the middle in between the finger
09:16 - in the ff sc 6, then sc in the middle
10:54 - total of 49sc sts around
11:11 - Do 2 rounds of 49sc sts
11:33 - Decrease in each finger front & back for 2 rounds total of 33sc sts
14:03 - Do 5 rounds of 33sc sts around
14:21 - attached the thumb & do 12sc & sc the ff.
15:37 - place the st. marker in the side of the thumb
15:43 - when you reach to the st market make another 2 rounds of 46sc sts.
15:58 - make 10 rounds of decrease (twice) in the Front & back of the gloves
If you have a bigger or wider palm stop at round 8 it's 30sts and continue doing 30sts in round 9 & 10.
( Take note that doing a decrease in different parts of the stitch or chain so it looks even.)
*My size is 26 so I made 10 rounds of decrease, in the video tutorial.
