हुमायूँ मुगल साम्राज्य का सम्राट
हुमायूँ मुगल साम्राज्य का सम्राट थे। वह अपने पिता बाबर की मृत्यु के बाद बादशाह बने।
वोह मई १७, १५४० में अफगान योद्धा शेर शाह सूरी द्वारा व्यापक रूप से पराजित हो गए थे, जिनहोने कुछ समय के लिए सूर साम्राज्य अपने राज्यों को उन्होंने पूरे उत्तर भारत और आधुनिक पाकिस्तान तक फैला दिया।
लेकिन हुमायूँ पलट के वापस आये और शेर शाह सूरी की मृत्यु के बाद और उन्होंने शेर शाह सूरी के उत्तराधिकारियों को हरा दिया और मुगल ताकतो को वापस आधुनिक उत्तर भारत, पाकिस्तान और अफगानिस्तान के क्षेत्रो में बुलंद कर दिया।
लेकिन अपनी सारी खोई हुई जमीन वापस पाने के बाद, हुमायूँ की एक दुर्घटना में मृत्यु हो गई और उनके तेरह साल के बेटे अकबर को बैरम खान की मदद से राजा बना दिया गया।
लेकिन अकबर के लिए यह आसान नहीं था क्योंकि उसी दौरान हेमू विक्रमादित्य अकबर को चुनौती देते हुए दिल्ली तक पहुंच गए।

Humayun was the son of the Mughal emperor Babur. After initial gains against the Sultan of Gujrat, he lost two back to back battles, Battle of Chausa (1539) and Battle of Kannauj (1540), against the mighty Sher Shah Suri and was pushed out of his empire. Sher Shah Suri became the new emperor and continued to chase Humayun and forced him to retreat to Shah Tahmasp, the emperor of Persia.
Shah Tahmasp helped Humayun and gave him his army, using which Humayun conquered Kandahar and Kabul from his brother Kamran Mirza and Aksari Mirza.
After the death of Islam Shah Suri, the son of Sher Shah Suri in 1554, Humayun regrouped his forces and marched to regain his lost territories. After defeating Sikandar Suri in back to back battles, Humayun became the undisputed King of the region in the year 1555 and reestablished the Mughal Dynasty.
But, only after six months of his coronation, Humayun died in an accident and his thirteen year old son was crowned as the King. But as soon as he assumed the title, Hemu Vikramadirya marched for Delhi, wining 22 battles in between, which led to the Second Battle Of Panipat.
