Partygate: "It appears Mr Johnson knew about parties he attended", says Dominic Grieve KC

The former Conservative Attorney General, Dominic Grieve KC, says the Standards Committee is "quite capable" of ruling impartially on Boris Johnson's statements made during the pandemic. Mr Grieve said the photographs of the "gatherings" the former PM attended will speak for themselves in front of the cross-party group of MPs. He added that parts of the Conservative Party appear to be "delusional" about Mr Johnson if they continue to support him if he is found to have mislead parliament.
