The poem starts with the poet telling that there is a change in that mountain region every second,i.e., it appears in new-new forms every second. He says that the earth becomes wet at times, i.e., that mountain region experiences sudden showers. Hence, the ponds over there becomes full. The waterfalls, which fall like pearl beads, flowing from the mountain's head, keep singing about the mountain and its beauty all the time. The vast mountain also adores itself, in the river that flows beneath it, with its beautiful eyes. Here, the poet has called the hundreds of beautiful flowers scattered on the mountain as its eyes and the river as a mirror. The hill trees stand up high and tall, appearing with high hopes and seeing a peaceful environment. Suddenly, the climate becomes misty, which makes the river as though it is on fire. Due to this, the whole situation becomes very quiet. The waterfalls stop singing. Everything becomes covered by the mist that it appears as though the shy has fallen, but only the trees are unaffected by the fog. They still stand with their heads up, and only those are seen in the whole mountain, even if the other regions are not visible. Thus, the poet concludes by saying that all these mountain regions' changes are just Lord Indra's play.
