The slow progress of Ukraine's
The slow progress of Ukraine's counteroffensive against invading Russian forces suggests the war is likely to last well into next year.
General Sir Richard Barron, former commander of Joint Forces Command, told Sky News the West needs to be prepared for a long conflict and continue to arm Ukraine.
Kyiv began its long-anticipated counterattack several weeks ago but has yet to make any major territorial gains.
