NORD ART 2023 in Büdelsdorf Germany

NordArt 2023 presents a juried selection of contemporary art by international artists. The special thing about NordArt is the synergy between different perspectives of individual cultures. Each work stands alone and at the same time in dialogue with the others. In interaction with the impressive backdrop of the Carlshütte, many common hopes and dreams unfold, regardless of origin and cultural identities. In order to deepen the insights, NordArt dedicates its own pavilion to a different country every year and presents special projects, cooperates with embassies, cultural institutions and curators from different countries.
NordArt is one of the largest exhibitions of contemporary art in Europe and has been taking place annually since 1999 at the artwork Carlshütte (non-profit art and culture initiative of the ACO Group and the cities of Büdelsdorf and Rendsburg).
The curators of NordArt are Wolfgang Gramm and Inga Aru.
The host and main sponsor of the Carlshütte artwork is the entrepreneurial couple Hans-Julius and Johanna Ahlmann.
The country focus of NordArt 2023 is on contemporary art from Turkey.
