#Pasteurization is a heat-treatment process that destroys pathogenic microorganisms in certain foods and beverages. The pasteurization name comes from French Microbiologist Louis Pasteur. Louis #Pasteur (in the 1860s) was demonstrated that abnormal fermentation of wine and beer could be prevented by heating the beverages to about 57° C (135° F) for a few minutes. The Purpose of milk Pasteurization is to increase milk safety and to increase shelf life. #Pasteurizedmilk widely used not only in India also in several countries. The common pasteurization temperatures of about 63° C (145° F) maintained for 30 minutes or, alternatively, heating to a higher temperature, 72° C (162° F), and holding for 15 seconds.
According to the CDC, pasteurization does not significantly change the nutritional value of milk. In addition, according to the CDC, if you’re thinking about drinking raw milk because you believe it’s a good source of beneficial bacteria like probiotics, you need to know that it isn’t. It could be harmful and make you sick because the Mycobacterium tuberculosis and other more heat-resistant of the non-spore-forming, disease-causing microorganisms found in milk.
