Police K9 Bane Memorial Service

On Tuesday, April 17, the city of Phoenix lost Police K9 Bane. He and his handler, a 14-year veteran officer, were helping to find a carjacking suspect. Doing his job, Bane was sent into a home where the suspect was hiding and during that response, he died.
Phoenix police and K9 units from all over the valley gathered to pay their respects to Bane at a memorial service in Phoenix.  
Bane, a 3-year-old Belgian Malinois, joined the Phoenix Police Department a little more than a year ago.
