Here we are testing the Gaming laptop performance of Acer Nitro 5 AMD variant. In this particular variant we get the 3000 series AMD Ryzen 5 3550H 12nm chipset and a 4 gigabyte AMD Radeon 560X. The AMD variant of this laptop is also further categorized into two , one with an SSD and another with just a HDD. The SSD variant improves the overall performance a bit.
This particular combination is quite popular with the manufacturers these days, some of the newer variants also includes an Nvidia GTX 1650 combined with the Ryzen 5 chipset giving both efficiency as well as performance.
Here we have tested the following games:
-GTA 5/ Grand Theft Auto 5
-CS Go/ Counter Strike Global Offensive
-The Witcher 3
-Need For speed Heat
-Star Wars the Jedi Fallen Order
-WWE 2k18
-Batman Arkham Knight
-Shadow Of the Tomb Raider
Order of laptop GPU performance below:
GTX 1650 then GTX 1050 Ti then RX 560X then GTX 1050 then MX 150 then Vega-8 (Ryzen-5)
To be honest, anything below the GTX 1050 Ti does not make any sense in 2020 as they are hardly capable of running the newer games.
Asus Tuf fx505dt ,Lenovo y540 and even hp pavilion gaming 15 are some great GTX 1650 options out there but if you have limited budget, then you can go with the Acer Nitro-5 Ryzen-5 3550H (1650 model). It lacks an SSD but offers great value for it’s price.
