The Tywyn Wurlitzer was originally installed in the Granada Woolwich Cinema in South East London and opened on 20th April 1937 by Reginald Dixon it was installed in Neuadd Pendre Community Hall, Tywyn, Wales in 1996.
The organ is Wurlitzer Opus 2203 and is a three manual nine rank instrument. Its nine ranks of pipes are Tibia Clausa, Vox Humana, Trumpet, Concert Flute, Violin, Violin Celeste, Diaphonic Diapason, Clarinet, Orchestral Oboe. The tuned percussions are Xylophone, Cathedral Chimes, Glockenspiel and Vibraphone.
The Bluthner Grand Piano can now be played remotely from the organ console. The non-tuned percussion are Bass Drum, Kettle Drum, Snare Drum, Tom-Tom, Cymbals, Castanets, Chinese Block, Tambourine, Triangle, Sleigh Bells, Fire Gong, Surf, Boat Whistle, Door Bell, Horse Hooves, Bird Whistles, Car Horn. These are all actual instruments and are played pneumatically.
