Netting showing the sheet bend and the square knot

This video shows the two main types of knot used in netting. The sheet bend [weavers knot] and the square knot. The sheet bend tends to slip unless an extra move is inserted which creates a thicker knot. The 'slip' doesn't seem to happen if the Flying Dutchman [lace makers] technique is used. There is a video showing this technique on this channel. The square knot sits flatter with less twist in the netting stitches.
