LEEDS ASIAN MELA 2012

It was a gloriously sunny day at Roundhay Park, the perfect setting for a family day out. The Leeds Asian Festival (the new name for the Leeds Mela) had been much anticipated, after a break last year. Traditionally the word 'Mela' comes from the Sanskrit meaning 'gathering' or 'to meet', it is used for all types of cultural and sporting events.
