In this vlog I'm going
In this vlog I'm going to show you a Raktpeeth not Shaktipeeth and It is known as Chamunda Meta Raktpeeth situated on a hill called Mata Tekri in Dewas. Dewas is an old industrial city of Madhya Pradesh where two royal estates used to rule together in old times.
Dewas is close to Ujjain and Indore. I was in Ujjain so I opted for public bus for this one hour journey. I reached at Nanakheda bus stand in Ujjain by 12 o clock in the noon and reached at Dewas 1 o clock. Mata Tekari is near to bus stand so I reached at entry gate by walking for hardly 5 minutes.
Then I started my Mata Tekri Parikrama by ramp way. First big temple is of Mata Tulja Bhawani, the elder goddess. Here I did darshan, had a chit chat with priest of the temple and then saw panoramic view of Dewas city from there.
I visited some small temples including Hanuman temple, Shiva Temple and Kho Kho Mata temple along with two Devi temples. Then I reached at Chamunda Mata temple, which is temple of Devi Chamunda (Younger sister of Goddess Tulja Bhawani). Here I visited Bhairav Gufa, Gorakshnath statue, Shiva temple and nine small temples of Nav Durga.
After visiting this temple I reached at Rope way counter which is close to Tulja Bhawani temple. There is a bhandara run by temple committee where I had food (Prasad) for just Rs. 20.
Then I reached at the starting point of Mata Tekari parikrama path. This is how I completed my Chamunda Mata Tekri parikrama.
