EID COOKIES 2017 - 3 INGREDIENTS ONLY PART 1 - SHORTBREAD COOKIES - RAMADAN - Dunyas Kitchen

These 3 Ingredients only Shortbread Cookies are perfect for Eid 2017! They are very easy to make and very delicious!

Ps: Be sure to use high quality butter! And it is very important to put the cookies in the fridge or freezer before baking them. This way the keep their shape while being baked in the oven.

It depends on how big your cookie cutter is. With this recipe I got around 45 Heartshaped Shortbread Cookies.

MEASUREMENTS IN CUPS:

Shortbread Cookies:

2 cups (260 grams) all-purpose flour

1/4 teaspoon (2 grams) salt

1 cup (2 sticks) (226 grams) unsalted butter, room temperature

1/2 cup (60 grams) powdered (confectioners or icing) sugar

1 teaspoon (4 grams) pure vanilla extract

For Chocolate Dipped Shortbreads:

6 ounces (180 grams) semi sweet or bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped
