We visited the largest religious structure in the world. Angkor Wat is a Hindu-Buddhist temple complex in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
Watching the sunrise over Angkor Wat is a truly unforgettable experience, unfortunately it was cloudy on the days that we were visiting. The temple gates open by 05:00 am, so make an early start as the crowd picks up quickly. The best location for taking video / pics is on the left besides the pond. Single day ticket costs $37 per person.
The music in the background is courtesy of the survivors of land mine explosions. Even though the war was more than 40 years ago, there are thousands of active land mines scattered all across Cambodia which cause many unfortunate accidents to the innocent locals who have nothing much to do with the past.
