How To Test Microphone on Windows 10

For a video call on your computer or may you want to record your audio, you need a 3.4mm microphone and should be connected in the mic jack. Now let’s see, our microphone is working or not in Windows 10.

1. At bottom right, right-click on the Speaker icon.
2. Click on the Open Sound settings.
3. Under Test your Microphone, you will see the mic level.
4. Now say something on your mic and keep your eyes on the mic level.
5. If the blue line mic level hitting the peak then it means your mic is working.
