After completing my +450m North-West Tors Tour, I had two more days on Dartmoor before heading home.

Starting at Steng-a-tor, I headed down into the West Okement River valley. I crossed the river at Sandy Ford before the steep climb up to Dinger Tor via Fordsland Ledge.

After lunch, I used the military roads to head eastward to the lake at Ockerton Court. Using the military roads again, I headed towards Hangingstone Hill, turning left just before the summit and then heading to Wild Tor. I camped at a windy Wild Tor for the night.

The weather had improved overnight, so it was a dry pack-up (#LeaveNoTrace) before heading down to Steeperton Brook to fill my water containers.

The ridge walk passing Oke Tor, Higher Tor, Irishman's Wall and Belstone Tor was wonderful with great views on both sides. Then I descended to the East Okement River, which I followed until I joined the Devonshire Heartland Way. The walk along the old railway bed was easy and in no time I was back at Okehampton Station.
