Safety glasses protect our eyes
Safety glasses protect our eyes but nothing protects them. After big scratches collect all of the surface of the lens they make it difficult to see what you’re working on. Sometimes you find yourself lifting your scratched safety glasses just to see what you’re doing on your project. That’s not good. Sn this video I go through the process on how to recondition your safety glasses.

A buffing wheel from Harbor freight is absolutely essential. They’ll cost about seven dollars and this gives the necessary heat in the polishing process to shine that finish. If there’s large scratches you’ll need to use 800 grit or 1200 grit sandpaper to flatten the Lynn’s surface. It is so nice when you can actually see through your safety glasses again.
