Classic recipe for Swedish "Kanelbullar" (Cinnamon rolls / snails): Rolled buns filled with a buttery cinnamon filling! These little cinnamon buns areeasy to make and extraordinarily delicious with coffee or « fika » as called in Swedish.

Ingredients for 20 kanelbullar / cinnamon rolls:

For the dough:
1 bag (5.5 gr / 0.2 oz) active dry yeast / 25 gr fresh baker's yeast
50 gr / 1.8 oz salted butter
40 gr / 1.4 oz sugar
300 ml / 10 fl oz semi-skimmed milk
440 - 480 gr / 1 lb wheat flour
a pinch of salt

For the paste:
75 gr / 2.7 oz salted butter
60 gr  / 2.1 oz sugar
3 tsp cinnamon powder

Bake the cinnamon rolls in a preheated oven at  450 deg. F / 225 deg. C.
