In this video I explain how to install the Automatic Number Formatting for Pivot Tables Macro in your Personal Macro Workbook. I also walk through the macros and code modules that make the macro work.

This includes the PivotTableUpdate event and application events that run the number formatting macro any time a change/update is made to any pivot table.
There are macros to find the source data range of the pivot table and also functions to return the number formatting of the column in the source data range, for the field that is added to the values area of the pivot table.
I also explain how the toggle button is added to the right-click menu (context menu) in VBA. This allows the user to turn the feature on/off at anytime.
The VBA project uses the Auto_Open event to add the button to the context menu when the workbook is opened.
