After selling my M100 kit
After selling my M100 kit that included the EF-M 55-200mm and wanting more range, I first tried an EF 75-300mm kit zoom lens. That was alright, but I didn't like how the focus ring moved when the camera is doing autofocus. With my budget of near zero I looked at old cheap options and found the Canon EF 100-300mm f4.5-5.6 USM lens. It's actually older than the 75-300, but has a better build quality plus design because when focusing there is no unwanted movement of the focus ring. In this video I took the lens out 4 times in challenging winter conditions of rain, cold, and the quickly dark afternoon light. While a lot of the challenges were on the camera's sensor due to high ISO, I did manage some lower ISO photos, video footage, and other interesting content from the lens so far. The camera used with the lens was the Canon EOS M5.
