A lot of people ask me if you can wash brain tanned buckskin clothing, and the answer is: Dear lord, yes! And please do!
While some leathers are damaged by getting wet and dry, your buckskins will hold up a lot better if you take the layer of grunge down regularly. I don't recommend just throwing them in the machine though. Here are my recommendations for washing your buckskin clothing, and why.
