Michael Jackson performing the Off The Wall Medley (Rock With You, Off The Wall and Don’t Stop Till You get Enough) in Auckland, New Zealand at the Ericsson Stadium for a sold out venue of ca. 47.000 people on November 11th, 1996. This is the second of the two shows in Auckland, the first show being on November 9th. Both shows were sold out, performed for a total of ca. 94.000 people.
THOUGHTS:
This is just great. The instrumentation is just straight up perfect. There’s a great groove here. However it’s still kinda odd to see Michael lip-singing DSTYGE. Gotta love the last live line of the song though 4:22. However, to me, this whole show is just a perfect representation of the ‘96 leg (and better than the November 9th show by all means)
WHAT I DID:
1080p and denoise by Sammy. Color correction, exposure fix, lighting correction, audio enhancement and more by me
WHY A ‘REMASTER’, AND NOT JUST ‘ENHANCED’?
This is a remaster because I did everything I could do to improve this performance, and achieved great results basically improving the performance with no loss of detail nor quality of both video and audio. This does not mean it’s perfect, this just means I did so much that it’s in my opinion worthy of the ‘remaster’ title.
