[Link in description] I've bought and sold many horns over the years so people sometimes ask me, if I could only keep one horn from my collection which one would it be? It's super easy to answer that question. If I could only keep one horn, it would be my Olds Clark Terry flugel. What makes this such a special instrument?

This horn will never make it onto the sales page because the sentimental value is just too great. Clark was such a great mentor, inspiration, and friend to me. Everything I do in terms of playing I do for Clark.
This is actually one of Clark's own flugelhorns! I didn't get it directly from him, but it's still so cool that this is one that he owned. The mouthpiece is one that I got from Clark (he gave me several mouthpieces, and one of them was the starting point for my own ACB TA1 design).
In the 1970s Clark went from being a Selmer artist (he helped design and tweak the iconic Selmer Radial trumpet) to being an Olds artist. This flugel he designed with Olds has some interesting features, especially the .437 bore which is pretty large for a flugelhorn. It also has a gigantic two piece bell. I did add a GR leadpipe which has helped the playability.
