The SABC has apologised to EFF's Mbuyeseni Ndlozi

The SABC has apologised unequivocally to EFF MP Mbuyeseni Ndlozi and his party for the unfortunate manner in which he was treated during a Newsroom programme last week. Host Eben Jansen invited him to discuss colonial and apartheid statues. The interview became confrontational. Jansen ended it abruptly, before Ndlozi could give his views on the subject. The SABC says the host's behavior was uncalled for and unprofessional. Disciplinary and corrective measures have been instituted. Jansen will not be presenting the programme until News management deems it appropriate for his return.
