Many people have a lot of questions about whether mink oil is the right leather conditioner for them. To me, it's a very hit or miss product. If you have work boots and you want to boost their waterproofing, then mink oil is an excellent option.
But mink oil darkens leather considerably. So it's not the best option if you like the current color of your boots and want to keep it the same.
