A Palestinian detainee recounts abuse suffered in Israeli Jail

Israeli forces have arrested over 9,700 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank since the onset of the Gaza conflict in October. Many detainees have reported experiencing abuse and torture while in Israeli jails.

Al Jazeera’s Nida Ibrahim interviews Moazzaz Obayyat, a Palestinian who spent nine months in Israeli prisons, and filed this report from Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank.
