During a pitch, you’ll typically have one to two minutes to capture investors’ attention. Learn exactly how to wow investors and set your startup apart at the start of your pitch by watching this video.
Does your startup have significant traction? Good. That means you can do a “flashback pitch.”
What’s a flashback pitch? Think about a movie that has a flashback format—something like The Social Network or Titanic.
These movies put the end of the story at the very beginning, and the rest of the movie explains the journey of how the characters got there.
Just like a flashback movie, a flashback pitch highlights the key points you’re going to bring up in your deck right at the very beginning of it.
After covering the idea of a flashback pitch, Dreamit Managing Partner Steve Barsh will explain why you want to put your flashback slide right after your cover slide. For this slide, you’ll go over all of the key points from your pitch—in about a minute.
What key points should your flashback slide cover? In the next part of the video, Steve will explain that you want to include things like the problem you’re solving, what’s unique about your solution, current traction, and more in the flashback.
